JBL Charge 4 Powerful Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Built-in Power Bank (Blue)

This speaker is mostly pitted against the Sony SRS-32. But this one might be preferred to Bose Companion and a few other reputable speakers in the sub-15 k range.
Pros
1. Rich and balanced sound throughout the volume range. Bass and treble in a healthy balance. This one is not really for the bassheads and that's where it's versatile and suitable for different music genres
2. Good cloth like grip. It's unlikely you'll drop the speaker because of poor hold
3. Massive 7,500 mah battery. At moderate volumes it can play for ages
4. Sober layout. This one is a personal choice. I dislike the gaudy disco lights on the Sony speaker. They're such a pain on the eyes. I need a speaker not a roadside knick knack. JBL Charge 4 has just a power and a Bluetooth connect LED and that's it. I like its understated and functional appearance.
5. Mobile charging facility is a useful feature
6. Aux connectivity is quite useful to connect vintage devices like old mp3 players and even for making calls

Cons
1. Pricey - price is substantially high than JBL Charge 3. Given the bigger battery and better drive, price is still higher than justifiable, by about 2-3 thousand
2. Speaker is a bit heavy at 960 grams
3. No speaker phone support - you can't take your phone calls on this one. Weird in my view

I purchased the product with two intentions. First and most important was to get good output in a living room condition for my music. And second was to take calls (including Skype calls).
First objective was met. The sound quality is excellent and the battery back up is decent. I end up using it for 2-3 days (extensively) before recharging. It

Which one would u choose....
1- super rugged, great battery life (more than 10 hours) average sounding.
2. The Best sounding nothing comes even close decent battery (upto 5 hours) but not compact and not very rugged...
3. Second best sounding, good battery, second best rugged, slightly heavy.
4. Super light, good sound, besg surround effect, decent battery, decently rugged but pricey not justifying the price.

1. Don't expect it to be a surround sound speaker. They are front firing.. Still you won't be able to tell that much difference.
2. Not very light. Still portable for most of the people.

Its a good speaker with a deep and punchy bass....those bass radiators really please both your eyes and ears....
Great battery life, really helpful as a power bank and yes water resistance is really cool....
Remember guys you are paying such huge amount for all these things and not just great music....
Its a great speaker for people who go to trips off and on with friends....they would find it really cool.....
However if music is your only priority and u just want an indoor speaker just for yourself, its up to you whether u wanna spend this much money as you wont be utilising its other features....

JBL is known for its sound quality . This sound bar doesn't disappoint on that front. Bass is out of this world. Just looking at those bass radiators while in action gives you great joy . Takes about 3-4 hours for a full charge but will definitely last almost a week on an average use of 3-4 hours daily. It's a beast and worth every single penny you spend for it.

Disappointed because No charging cable C3 type and no manual but on the box they have mentioned C type charging cable and manual inside the box on packaging list. For C type charging cable I

I ordered this jbl charge 4 bluetooth speaker today. The sound quality is not good at all. Money is completely West. I would have got a very good option for 12000 rupees, now I am regretting that I should not have bought this model. Very unhappy with the sound quality of this product.
