Samsung Galaxy A30 64 GB White (4 GB RAM)

The first thing that struck me about this phone was that super amoled display, and what's makes it better is that it comes with the Widevine L1 certification, I have checked this out and believe me, full HD videos on this amoled screen gives you a next level multimedia experience. Apart from the screen, the phone comes with One UI which is actually the good UI that Samsung has come out with (I never really liked Experience UI). The software interface is optimized so well that you can use all your apps with just one hand. Coming to the camera it was really surprising that for once Samsung has exceed my expectations for camera performance at this price point. The portrait mode is really good too, the edge detection is on point and the ultra wide camera is not too clear in terms of detail (it's of no use to me anyways, so I guess that's fine. Also there is no support for 4k video recording). The front camera is an all rounder, acting as a face recognition scanner and an auto brightness sensor. It really shocked me that the camera actually recognized my face under almost no light conditions. The let down here is the auto brightness, as most of the time the brightness is either too high or too low. The finger print scanner is really fast and that's not the only thing the finger print sensor can be used for as Samsung has added functionality for the finger print sensor in the settings. In terms of audio, the use of Dolby Atmos has helped achieve no difference on sound quality between wired and wireless headphones. This phone also supports Samsung pay mini which is pretty much the same as Samsung Pay, and it works perfectly fine for me. Really don't know why everyone is making a fuss about no Samsung Pay.
Lastly, if you buy this phone spend some time in the phone settings as there are a lot of features that are there and you can make use of.

I was confused between Samsung A30 and Redmi note 7 pro.

Having used note 5 pro and redmi products from last 3 years, I decided to go for a30.
I was sceptical, but boy o boy, I was proved wrong by this piece of beauty.

The display is scintillating.brilliant color reproduction and viewing angles.

The One UI is simply simple to use.Its almost similar to android one UI we get in Motorola one and Nokia 6.1 plus phones.

The RAM management is pretty good.Some delay might be visible when opening apps and scrolling through apps, but that's manageable for me.

Camera is decent for this price...not so good , but the pictures certainly look decent...go for note 7 pro if your primary requirement is camera.

Fast charging works well..approx 1 hour 50 minute to get fully charged.

Audio output, is very good and clear.. one can easily watch and hear audio of movies in a room with fan at full speed.

The only issue is with gaming.It can even play miniclip games properly.some display lag is visible in miniclip carrom..

Do not buy this phone if you intend to play games...

Bought the red one during Bajaj Estore summer sale. Interestingly there were zero reviews on this when I purchased it. But now it's all here, magically. Not sure who to blame Bajaj Estore or seller.

Looking at all the negative reviews on the black/blue models, I probably got lucky with the red one. If I had read these reviews then I wouldn't have bought this model.

The first thing I did was to update the phone software, so may be many of the issues have been resolved. One of the reasons why sticking with mainstream brand helps sometimes.

After couple of days using it, the phone seems like it's a good buy at 15k.
NO heating or screen flicker or hanging issues observed. I'm not a gamer so don't have much input on that.
Phone is fast but seems sluggish at times, I assumed that this would be the case since it has Samsung processor as opposed to Qualcomm's.
The phone came with a silicone cover which was a pleasant surprise, although product description didn't mention it.
A decent phone for a decent price, buy the red one !!

First of all aobut Bajaj Estore ... Bajaj Estore had provided me offer of no cost EMI which seems to be incorrect information as I am being charged approx 60 bucks extra in every EMI against the shown one on site and processing fees have been charged separately.
Basically, invoice shows cost almost Rs. 1000 lesser to what I have bought this phone for.
Very much disappointing service by Bajaj Estore as none is entertaining for any corrections. Calls diverted me to online web support and online there is no option given for EMI issues.
Now about this phone specifically, This phone is perfect in so many senses.
Games are working fine. Camera is enough good, specially in good lighting conditions.
Fingerprint reader is quite fast, battery is day long lasting, face recognition is also fairly fast.
It's good to have all this in budget under 20k.
Anybody wants to buy within this budget, I can definitely recommend.

Dislikes:
1)Auto rotating screen is quit annoying
2) it cannot count your steps so you cannot keep a track of your activity on this device
3) camera focus is a major issue here
4) speaker is average

not in a position to compete with mobile brands like oppo and not even infinix,waste product,very worst net signal catching,slow performance

Phone is heating issues phone is very slow face unlock is poor no app lock overall average I am Samsung lover but this phone is not good

The rating set on 4/5 as its display and features of multitasking is very good.
No heating problems, charge of 100% in 1.5hrs
There is no screen recorder so i feel bad but can downloaded from third party source.
Sound quality with speaker and with headphone are fabolous.
Camera quality is also good, and clear pic. Front camera is totally a different world.
So if you want to change from other handsets company just buy it without comparing.

Pros:

Smooth interface, no stutters or lags.

Cons:
Personally only 1, wifi reception not the good.

All in all, this is a very good phone in this price.
Samsung phones are in their own league.
People complaining about other phones having better features should go and buy those and not complain here.
