Samsung Galaxy A70 128 GB White (6 GB RAM)

I got my A70 for closer to 25k which I think is a fair price to pay for this phone. Everything that follows is influenced by the price I paid for this phone, I don't reccomend paying more than 25-26k max, just be patient and wait for a good discount.

I don't use face unlock or fingerprint readers in my devices for privacy reasons, so I'm very happy with just picking up or tapping to wake and unlocking with a passcode/ phrase.

My first impression upon unboxing was that the finish of the phone felt really premium, it has a nice heft to it and all the seams were super smooth. My iPhone 8 plus is my main phone and this A70 holds its own next to it.

The new One UI is intuitive and very, very snappy. You can multitask to your heart's content. There are plenty of options to customise your user experience too.

The screen looks massive and is absolutely gorgeous, I just set every app to be full screen and force it to work in split screen mode (developer options) to get the most out of all that screen real estate. The screen also gets nuclear bright so don't anticipate any visibility issues outdoors, it also gets dark enough at the lowest brightness to use comfortably in a dark room while still being clear enough to read and navigate. The auto brightness is simply superb, never once did I feel the need to manually adjust the brightness, you can set it once and forget it.

I took all evening minutely tweaking and setting up every option and feature to suit my needs, and the thing that struck me the most was how hassle free it all was. Even though I've never owned a Samsung smartphone before (always preferred to get my android phones from Google), I never once got stuck figuring out a setting, everything was easy to find and navigate to with the super responsive gesture controls.

I'm not big on selfies or sharing pictures publicly, I only share pics with family on WhatsApp and use the front facing camera for video calling. The cameras on this phone gave me superb results for my use cases. Family members were really impressed with the quality of my WhatsApp video call (of course your results will depend on your internet speed/ signal strength).

The gorgeuos screen, the massive battery, the clean, smooth, snappy One UI, the sleek Glastic body with the drum tight seems, dual VoLTE SIMs and storage expansion options, all this for around 25k is a very good deal in my opinion. All this combined with the Samsung reliability and easy access to support (If you ever need in warranty service) makes this phone a brilliant buy in my book! If this phone is beyond your budget, then go for the A50 instead (don't even think about the M40, its screen is utter trash), the performance difference between them is very negligible.

P.s.: Finally, I just want to address a few other issues people are having.

Heat - the faster you charger a battery the more heat is produced, and the quicker the battery deteriorates. Only use the super fast charging when you're really hard up for time. I've turned off fast charging in the settings, and it only takes ~25 mins longer to charge up the phone.

Slow fingerprint reader - increase the screen's touch sensitivity before you set up your fingerprint, and stick with using just one finger. Also, avoid using screen protectors. They're just not compatible with this optical sensor technology.

1. Display quality is very good ?? with SAmoled display the experience of watching vedios is different from the usual screen.
2. Both front and rare cameras do a decent job ?? than most of cheap quality 48mp mobiles. With a little customisations in camera settings the cameras perform even better in day as well as in low light.
3. The sound quality is very good with a mono stereo speaker. It is not too high to be irritated or too low.??
4. Overall multi tasking performance is decent with a good in built optimization option??
5. Call quality and signal receiving ability was very nice??
6. Fast charger will charge your mobile almost 85 to 90 percent in just 30 mins.??
7. A dedicated memory card slot along with dual SIM is an added advantage ??
8. Samsung Pay is an obvious advantage ??
9. Phone is protected with Samsung Knox so no need to worry for loss of any sensitive information??
10. Digital wellbeing and other unique customisations in the settings are added advantage ??
*Cons*
1. Indisplay fingerprint sensor is pathetic??. It won't recognize most of the times. I have changed myself to old fashion pattern unlocking.??
2. As the screen to body ratio and screen sensitivity is high many times when you attending call the hold feature become activated due to slight touch of your ear to screen. It's a bit annoying??
3. Screen seems to be not scratch resistant. Better go with a screen guard instead of destroying costly SAmoled display.??

Overall it is a very good phone ?? for multi tasking and security when compared to its Chinese competitors but obviously not a brilliant Samsung quality built??.

After a long break purchased Samsung a70 few days back. Hello Friend don't go after price. Price is feeling high but after using this phone I forgot the price because it is an outstanding one. I liked one ui the most. Customization possibilities of one ui is never ending. In comparison redmi, honor and even one plus the flow of one ui is astonished me. Samsung is not the same as was in 2G era. It has changed a lot in performance also. Camera is not as good as I expected because it is a failure infront of one plus camera especially when the price of both phones are almost equal. Earlier Samsung phones were known for their cameras even in low budgeted phones their focus were on cameras but things r changed now. I request Samsung to provide skin tone to camera in next updates. My friends laughed at me on seeing photos taken from this phone. Sound is not bad though not high as much of redmi, honor and one plus but the sound quality of head phone given is highly appreciable. Battery is good and gives me two days full. I have installed gcam and working fine. Network speed is good. It runs LTE+. Super amoled screen is the biggest advantage of this phone. Viewing movies & videos on this screen will take u to a fantasy world and it is amazing when u enjoy the sound with headphone on dolby atmos. Here this phone turn as an unbelievable entertainer. Overall I am happy because Samsung has reborn through their one ui. Hope samsung will make the camera too to that level in their upcoming updates. Hello Friend if u r a Samsung fan , then u will not get disappointed with the performance of Samsung a70. Go for it.

Pros:
you will be blown away by the quality of the screen which Samsung has put in this mobile it's very good it's oled it's 6.7 inches panel
Colour accuracy of the screen is too good
Phone doesn't have given for heavy games
Charges of 25 Watt with charges phones very quickly
camera is of 32 megapixel + 5 megapixel + 8 megapixel which offers features like wide-angle live bokhen and depth camera
Weight of phone is around 180 gram which is not too heavy for iPhone of this size
the battery capacity is 4500 MH which will give you battery backup up to 2 days
Cons:
the price is slightly on higher side I think we wait for around 3 month Samsung will definitely drop its price around the 42 5,000 then it will be a very good package for around 22,000
Make sure to apply some screen protector and case cover this phone is very delicate as light fall will give you and scratch on the screen

This Phone from Samsung is really very good and I am totally flat on its Camera And A big big Battery backup it is providing to me. Prior to this A70 I was using Apple iphone 6s whichwas worst in its Battery backup and In Camera too.... My both those purpose are solved after buying This Galaxy A70 Really Samsung Has worked upon its Camera Features and in RAM ROM too.... So 5 out of 5 in Performance, Its Display is too much good Super Amoled Screen and A massive 6.7 inches of Display Size.... Resolution is too much better than its Older models phones. I am using it from last 1 month... Delivery was too early as i expected.... Thank you very much Samsung And Bajaj Estore .........

The phone is an absolute stunner in terms of style and looks. The sleek thickness and the curved edges give out somewhat of a future ready glimpse. The performance has been up to what you would expect from a 30 grand phone. However, one major kick in gut is the fingerprint sensor.

Admitting that a fingerprint sensor is quite a nifty feature and to include that is a privilege, it's probably one of the worst sensors what they've used. Comparing to the competition in the market I would say that Samsung needs to really like scrutinize this and get a better, like about twice better fingerprint sensor on the phone.

If not everything looks and growls like a jaguar ready to pounce.

fabolouseeeee phone...i had a little confusion before buying because of reviews....but thanks to samsung that like always they've satisfied me and i got a superb phone at that price...this phone is as smooth as butter.....and fingerprint and face recognition are very fast ...the good part is more than one fingerprint can be added ....and the most attractive part is camera....just too good.......vedio recording has super slow motion and slow motion...good for making beautiful vedios...night mode is a little bit weak...but that won't be problem if flash is on....

Cons_
1) worst fingerprint sensor .
2) camera stabilization missing, blurry images
3) Difficult in single hand use.
4) very bad low light performance of camera.
5) Low connectivity of 4g network .
6) Easily get scratches on body coz of plastic construction.
7) One day battery life in normal usage.

First i will start with biometrics:the face unlock is faster than the fingerprint so the phone can scan ur face before your finger
Second of all: camera,which i found to be quite good
Last but not least:battery, it is a beast it will last very long with normal usage and even with heavy usage it is comparitively good.
Overall the phone is A good buy you can go for it ,tho u will find the same specs in the redmi not 7 pro but i would recommend this as it has a more premium feel.25k could have been more reasonable.

I like every feature of the phone one feature was missing I.e. when a picture is clicked there is date is not displayed on the picture which is an essential part of the camera.
