SAREGAMA Carvaan Tamil 6 W Bluetooth Digital Audio Player (Cherrywood Red)

Good collection of Tamil songs. Also has a few Hindi songs. Carnatic collection is good too. Audio quality is good too. The website has the song lists. The remote is useful and is easier to surf songs. There's no search or direct song selection though. The device itself is quite easy to use and would be liked by people of all ages.

Customer service didn't give me a pleasant experience, perhaps there was no service player near my city (Hosur). There's a problem with the battery which never shows as fully charged. This was informed to Saregama who tried for doorstep service but it hasn't happened yet. Seems to be a one off case and a minor issue, as the device still plays well and long.

Definitely, a good buy for music lovers.

Great product. Bought it for my DAD and he loves it. The quality of audio is awesome, particularly on well-recorded songs and on FM and Bluetooth mode. Song selection is good, not be best, and some are recorded in poor quality, though it might be just how they are originally. It looks like SaReGaMa's copyrighted songs, and some selections are a total disappointment (for instance, the AR Rahman ones) but some real golden oldies in both Tamil movie and Carnatic category make it just a great buy.

And not just me but everyone loves the looks and build quality. Brings back the old radio feel.

My point is, many things fade from life , but some stand till life time!! This is one among!!
Definitely it will be one of the best memories for many over here in India!! I bought this for my grandparents!!

Good speakers, good sound!! No extra speakers needed for loudness!! If needed then extra bass would be good!!

I bought Tamil Carvaan. Product is good. Stylish. Good Specs. The songs repeat many times. You dont know what song is going to play next. It plays randomly and takes a lot of press forward to get a new song playing. The songs are not listed in the link page as Saregama says. emailed them. yet to get reply.

would appreciate if they provide the playlist. the category could have different song instead of repeated ones under each artist or Music director, because this is misleading, ensure less number of sad melodies...otherwise its a wonderful product , easy to carry it anywhere, and user friendly

The description of this item is very misleading. It says Tamil Carvan but in reality has devotional, Carnatic and Hindi as well. Does not make sense at all. Overall it is a good gift to anyone that likes to listen to nostalgic songs from the past without having to deal with geeky stuff.

It's really nice product , I'm really happy for dis , yesterday I saw some reviews for this product . And create some negativity . But today I received this radio it's really nice . Easy to use . Everything is there. Before purchase I also had same assumption but I just love it. ??

really awesome product with great collection of songs. USB and blue tooth are additional feature which extends its usage.
FM works well.
priced high (hope this is due to patented copy of songs)

Too good a concept.. Expect all the music houses to follow suit... Also updates should be made available for the product at least once in 6 months to renew the songs

This product is for old people. You can get so many other speakers cheaper. The USP of this product is.. It is for the old people. Bold buttons to select mode... Big display adds to ease this product. No nonsense design for elders.
