Telangana Traffic Police Challan

Telangana state (TS) is enlisted as the 8th worst state when it comes to road safety. The severity of road accidents in Telangana has risen to 29.7 points, meaning for every 100 accidents, at least 30 people died in 2019. The rising road safety violations and traffic management has been a major concern for the state traffic police. Stringent rules and hefty penalties are put in place by the government for traffic violators. As per the New Motor Vehicle Act of 2019, you will be issued a Telangana traffic e challan if and when you defy any traffic safety rule.

Note: The 3 commissioners of Hyderabad–Cyberabad, Rachakonda, and Hyderabad–are giving a one-time discount to those who are yet to pay their traffic challan. You can visit the official e-challan Telangana website or visit MeeSeva centres any time between March 1, 2022 and March 31, 2022 to avail this facility.
