Step 2: Now provide your e-challan UP number or your vehicle number or your DL number.
Step 3: Write the captcha, then click on 'Get details'.
Step 4: You will be redirected to the page showing your traffic violations and the amount of the fines.
Step 5: You can now pay the fine, after which, you will get a confirmation message and the transaction ID.
How to Pay E-Challan Through Paytm
Step 1: Open the Paytm App on your smartphone.
Step 2: Click on the section called ‘Recharge and Pay Bills’.
Step 3: Under this section, you will find the ‘e-challan’ option, click on it.
Step 4: Select the ‘Traffic Authority’ and enter all the necessary details like challan number, vehicle details, etc.
Step 5: Your pending e-challan details will show up.
Step 6: Choose your method of payment, i.e. debit or credit card, UPI or Paytm wallet or net banking.
Step 7: Post the payment is done, you will receive a message on your registered number confirming that your e-challan payment is done.

In case you did not receive your e-challan SMS or if you simply wish to check the UP e-challan status online, you can do so on the UP traffic website:
Step 1: Visit the Uttar Pradesh traffic police website.
Step 2: On the website, click on ‘Check e-challan status’.
Step 3: Enter your UP e-challan number or your vehicle number.
Step 4: Your e-challan status will be displayed on the screen.
