The State Government of Karnataka is conducting a drone survey of land records within the state. With the drone survey being covered in two phases, conducting it helps update residential and commercial land records. The survey started in five Karnataka districts across Karnataka.

Launched in 2000, Bhoomi RTC is Karnataka's flagship project that facilitates easy land record management. RTC stands for Record of Rights, Tenancy and Crop. It is also known as ‘Pahani’ in Kannada. Farmers require the RTC document while selling their land, getting a loan, or getting an electricity connection.

 

The Government of Karnataka introduced Bhoomi Online, which is the state government portal, to provide digital access to land records and ensure transparency.

How to Download RTC on Bhoomi Online

To access Karnataka land records and download RTC, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Visit the official Bhoomi Karnataka page at https://landrecords.karnataka.gov.in/

  • Step 2: Choose ‘i-RTC’ under the RTC services tab

  • Step 3: Log in with your credentials

  • Step 4: Fill in the required details (year, village, district, survey number, etc.) 

  • Step 5: Click on 'Fetch Details' and click on 'View RTC' 

  • Step 6: Click on ‘Pay’ to download the RTC after viewing it and make the payment

How to View RTC Form 16 Online

Follow these steps to view RTC Form 16: 

  • Step 1: Go to the Bhoomi RTC portal at https://landrecords.karnataka.gov.in/

  • Step 2: Choose ‘View RTC Information’ from the pop-up menu to view the Bhoomi RTC details

  • Step 3: If you choose the survey number, enter the district, taluk, hobli, and other details

  • Step 4: If you select owner-wise, enter the district, taluk, hobli and village

  • Step 5: You can view the Bhoomi RTC Form 16 on the screen

How to Access Bhoomi Online Revenue Maps

Follow these steps to access revenue maps from the Bhoomi Karnataka portal:

  • Step 1: Go to the Survey (SSLR) Services tab on the portal

  • Step 2: Choose the 'Revenue Maps' option available on the right

  • Step 3: Enter details like the village, district, etc.

  • Step 4: Select the accurate village and click on the .pdf file to download the file

How to Extract Mutation Report in the Bhoomi Portal

Follow these steps to extract a mutation report on the Bhoomi Karnataka portal: 

  • Step 1: Go to the ‘Services’ section

  • Step 2: Select ‘View RTC and MR’ on the left

  • Step 3: Click on the ‘MR’ (Mutation Report) option on the top bar

  • Step 4: Enter the required details (district, hissa number, survey number, etc.) 

  • Step 5: Click on ‘Fetch Details’ to view the data on the screen
