CIDCO or City and Industrial Development Corporation was established on 17th March 1970 and is controlled by the Government of Maharashtra. It now focuses on the development of new towns, providing municipal services and executing large scale infrastructure projects in cities of Maharashtra. 

 

One of CIDCO’s chief goals is to provide affordable housing to those belonging to various income categories. During auspicious and festive seasons, CIDCO offers mass housing schemes that take the form of a lottery. The latest house scheme to be announced is the Diwali 2022 lottery. The draw for the scheme will take place on 19 January 2023 and over 7,000 families will be able to realise their dreams of securing housing in Navi Mumbai.

Under the 2022 Diwali CIDCO lottery, a total of 7849 settlements are offered to the EWS category.

The following are the steps to register for the CIDCO Lottery Scheme:

 

• Step 1: To register, you first need to visit the CIDCO lottery 2022 official website of ‘The City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra’. On the homepage of the website, you need to select the ‘Register for Lottery’ option.

 

• Step 2:  Enter the details such as username, and password, and provide basic information such as first name, father/ husband name, surname, date of birth, and mobile number and click on the ‘Submit’ option.

 

• Step 3: Enter the captcha and click on ‘Confirm’. A pop-up message will appear where you need to enter the OTP you received on your registered number.
• Step 4: Click the ‘OK’ option and enter the monthly income and PAN card number. Re-enter your PAN number and the applicant’s name as on the PAN card on the CIDCO lottery 2022 application form online.

 

• Step 5: Now upload a scanned copy of your PAN card and enter your Aadhaar card number. Re-enter Aadhaar card number and applicant name as on Aadhaar card.

 

• Step 6: Upload a recently-scanned colour picture of yourself and fill in all the required personal details including your bank account number, IFSC Code, bank Name, and bank branch name.

 

• Step 7: Finally, enter the captcha code and click on the “Submit” option and confirm.

Please Note: Your Mobile number and email ID which you have entered will be used by the CIDCO officials for further communications and must not be changed till the scheme is over.

• To be eligible for the CIDCO scheme, you must qualify under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category or belong to the Lower Income Group (LIG) category. 

• The Corporation has set guidelines to identify individuals based on the two categories, and only qualified applicants can make the most of the lottery scheme.

• Applicants with a monthly income of ₹25,000 are eligible for the CIDCO lottery under the EWS category.

• Applicants with a monthly income in the range of ₹25,000 to ₹50,000, are eligible for this scheme under the LIG category.

Given below are the steps to check your application status:

• Step 1: First of all, open the official website of the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra.

• Step 2: On the home page, you need to select the “Accepted Applications” option. On clicking it, the lottery names will appear, check the name and click the “View” option given in front of the lottery name.

• Step 3: Again click “View” as per your category and scheme code, you will get a list of applicants who are accepted in pdf form.

• Step 4: Look for your application number and name on the list along with the status of your application.

• Step 1: To check the lottery results, you need to first visit the official website of CIDCO.

• Step 2: On the homepage, click on the tab that says “View Lottery Results”.

• Step 3: On the next page, enter your application number and click “search”. Subsequently, the details pertaining to your application number will be populated in the table: “Draw status of Application”. More details pertaining to EWS and GN schemes are available on this page.

• Step 2: Do a citizen login using login ID.

• Step 3: You can fill and lodge a complaint.

• Step 4: Upon lodging a complaint, a complaint registration number will be given to check the status online.
