Along with the stamp papers, the individual will be needed to submit a copy of the title deed, a copy of the map, the Jamabandi details, digital photographs and the plan, among others.

  • Step 4: Then, the documents will need to be submitted along with the stamp papers to the respective Sub-Registrar office.

  • Step 5: The documents which have been submitted will then be examined carefully by the Sub-Registrar. Then, a nominal amount will have to be paid towards the likes of stamp duties, service charges and the registration fee through the HARIS system.

  • Step 6: Post the scrutiny of the documents, the individual will have to appear prior to the Joint Sub-Registrar/Sub-Registrar office for the entry of the said document. To authenticate the identity of the executant, two witnesses will be required.

  • Step 7: Upon endorsing the entry of the executant by the Joint Sub-Registrar/Sub-Registrar, subject to adherence to procedures, the respective Sub-Registrar will include the registration certificate, through the computerised HARIS system, on to the documents.
