A regional unit of MHADA, Pune Housing and Area Development Board has been established on 5th December 1977, as per the provisions in section 18 of MHAD Act, 1976. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana of 2015, MHADA Pune intends to make low-cost housing and quality homes accessible to all.

If you fit the following criteria, you are eligible for applying for the MHADA Pune Lottery.
You are of or above the age of 18 years.
You must submit a domicile certificate. A domicile certificate will certify that you're a resident of Maharashtra.
The candidate applying for a Higher Income Group Flat must have an income of more than Rs. 75,000 per month.
Candidates applying for a Middle Income Group Flat must have a monthly income of Rs. 50,0001 to Rs. 75,000.
Those applying for a Lower Income Group Flat must earn Rs. 25,001 to Rs. 50,000 on a monthly basis.
Applicants must have a PAN Card as well.
