About PMAY Documents

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) is a scheme introduced by the Government of India to provide housing facilities to citizens by 2022. Through the Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS) under PMAY, the beneficiaries can enjoy a subsidy of up to 6.5% on home loan. You can apply for a PMAY scheme online or offline. However, you need to submit some supporting documents to process your application.

There are criteria with respect to income, that need to be fulfilled to avail the PMAY scheme.. Ideally, applicants belonging to the following income group fall under the PMAY eligibility criteria-

Annual income less than INR.3 lakhs

Low-Income Group (LIG)

Annual Income up to INR.6 lakhs
