The Real Estate Regulatory Authority, commonly known as RERA, was launched by the Indian Government in 2016. The government believed that RERA would not only protect the rights of the real estate agents and investors but would also uplift the market. RERA Chhattisgarh officially came into force in May 2017.
RERA Raipur has an organised database of all the builders, investors, and agents of the real estate industry in Chhattisgarh and its cities. According to the RERA Act & Rules, every project (including commercial and residential) needs to get approval from the RERA Chhattisgarh committee with proper documentation to commence the construction activities.
