The Telangana government has launched an official website of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority in Telangana or RERA Telangana. The objective is to improve the real estate market's efficiency and transparency. RERA Telangana is authorised for listing real estate projects and maintaining state records. 

The TS RERA website provides a range of services to citizens, developers, builders, and real estate experts. Project registration,  online payment choices, document upload options, RERA Telangana project search options, agent registration, form download alternatives, and complaint submission are a few of the services available. According to the law, no real estate builder is allowed to advertise a project unless it has successfully registered with Telangana RERA. 

The Indian government passed the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act in 2016. After the introduction, while some provisions of the RERA Act went into effect on May 1st, 2016, other provisions went into effect on May 1st, 2017. According to the legislation, each state must designate a Real Estate Regulatory Authority to guarantee that the Act's objectives are met. Here are the steps to follow for promoters’ RERA registrations:

• Step 1: Browse the TS RERA official website. 

• Step 2: Click on ‘New Registration.’ You'll be redirected to a new page. 

• Step 3: Select ‘Promoter’ and fill out all the necessary information. 

• Step 4: Provide the captcha and click on ‘Create User.’

• Step 5: Following that, an authentication email will be sent to your email address. 

• Step 6: To complete the registration procedure, you must click the activation link.

Below are the steps to follow in order to register yourself as a real estate agent. 

• Step 1: Visit the RERA Telangana official web portal.

• Step 2: Go to the ‘New Registration’ tab and click on it.

• Step 3: Next, you will be taken to a new page.

• Step 4: Choose ‘Real Estate Agent’ and enter the necessary details.

• Step 5: Provide the captcha and click on 'Create User.'

• Step 6: An authentication email will then be sent to your email address.

• Step 7: To conclude the registration process, click the activation link.

• Step 2: Navigate to the ‘Services’ tab and choose the ‘Real Estate Registration’ option from the menu.

• Step 5: Once logged in, click on ‘Project Details.’

• Step 6: Click on ‘Add Project Details’ and provide the required information.

• Step 2: Next, to browse a list of projects registered with the authority, click on ‘Search Registered Projects and Agents.’

Following are the steps to view the details of registered agents.

• Step 1: Browse the RERA Telangana site. 

• Step 2: Click on 'Search Registered Projects and Agents’ to access the list of agents/promoters registered with the authorities.

• Step 3: Next, you can access their profile information and other details by clicking on the icons next to each real estate agent. 

Here is the list of documents required for project registration. 

• Name, photograph, contact, and address details of the promoter (For individuals).

• Name, address, and phone number of the chairman, partners, and directors (For business persons).

• Verified copy of the promoter's PAN card.

• A copy of the title deed proving the promoter's ownership of the land or plot where the planned project is being built.

• Balance sheet displaying the last three years' profit and loss statements.

• The promoters' annual report, director's report, and auditors' report from the previous three fiscal years.

• Information about the open and closed parking spaces that are available inside the construction project.

• If the promoter is not the owner of the plot, specifications of the loan owner's authorisation, as well as related documents like a collaboration deed, a development deed, etc are required.

• Registration application form for the regulatory authority.
