Visit the official NSDL portal and in the ‘Download’ drop-down menu, select PAN.

However, it is important to know that this process can be completed online as well. It is extremely easy and convenient if you wish to apply for a PAN Card name change or PAN Card address change or any other change through the online medium. This process can also be completed through the portals of both NSDL and UTIITSL. Read below to learn more.
On the official NSDL website, select Changes and Correction in existing PAN Data/Reprint of PAN Card (No Changes in Existing PAN Data) in the Application Type drop-down menu.
Fill in your personal details, enter the captcha provided, and click on Submit.
You will be directed to a new page where you must digitally submit your documents. You can submit your PAN documents by the e-KYC process while keeping your Aadhaar card handy. Submit the other documents along with the e-sign.
Attest that all the required documents have been submitted and enter your personal details into the required fields and click on Submit.
You will be directed to the payment gateway, where you can make your payment through debit or credit card, net banking, or demand draft.
Once the payment has been completed, details of the successful transaction will be displayed to you.
You are then required to verify your Aadhaar details. Check on the box and click on Authenticate in order to proceed further.
Once the Aadhaar authentication has been completed, continue with e-Sign or e-KYC to generate and send the OTP to your registered mobile number.
Enter the OTP you receive on your phone and click on Submit.
You will now be shown a page where you can review your PAN Card correction details. Check it and download the form for future reference.
Head to the official UTIITSL portal and click on PAN Card Services.
Navigate to Change/Correction in PAN Card and click on Apply for Change/Correction in PAN Card details.
You will be shown a CSF form, where you must enter all the requisite details.
If you make any changes or corrections for any particular field, you must click on the red box. This will ensure that your PAN Card name change or address change request has been registered.
Now, upload your documents through the e-KYC or e-Sign method.
Once all the documents are uploaded, you need to name the documents submitted and fill in the personal details required.
You will be directed to a payment gateway, where you can make the payment through cheque, DD, credit or debit card, or even net banking.
Once the payment is completed, you will be shown the details of your successful transaction.
After this process, you need to click on Continue with e-KYC/e-Sign in order to generate an OTP.
Submit the OTP you receive on your registered mobile number and click on Submit in order to complete the process.
Suppose you are using either of the online processes to apply for the updation or correction of your PAN Card details. In that case, your corrected or updated PAN Card will be sent to your registered address within 15 to 20 days of completing the verification. Additionally, in case you are not using the e-Sign method to submit your details as well as documents, you are required to get a printout of the form, attach the required documents, and submit it to the nearest UTIITSL office along with two passport-size pictures.
