Quantum Asset Management Company Pvt. Ltd., which manages Quantum Mutual Fund, was founded in 2006. Quantum Mutual Fund was the first Direct-to-Investor Mutual Fund in India at the time of its launch. 

 

Quantum AMC aims to provide Indians with easy investment options in the form of ten different schemes across equity, fixed income, and gold. Quantum Advisors Pvt. Ltd. and HWIC Asia are the sponsors of this company. 

 

As of the previous quarter, Quantum Asset Management Company Ltd. has registered Asset Under Management (AUM) of 2,103.90 Crores. Moreover, the company schemes can offer annualised returns of up to 13%.

A team of seasoned Fund Managers oversees the schemes offered by Quantum Asset Management Company Pvt. Ltd.

1. Pankaj Pathak

Pankaj Pathak, who has an experience of over 11 years in Fixed Income research, is a Fund Manager at Quantum AMC. He holds a PGD in Banking and Finance from the National Institute of Bank Management, Pune, and is a CFA charter holder. 

 

Before joining Quantum AMC in 2013, he worked with the Bank of Maharashtra. Pathak currently manages Quantum Dynamic Bond Fund and Quantum Liquid Fund. The former has registered returns of 7.63% since its launch. 

2. George Thomas

George Thomas is an Associate Fund Manager at Quantum AMC and has an experience of over 6 years in equity research. Thomas has a PFD in Management (Finance) from IMT, Ghaziabad. Prior to joining Quantum AMC in 2016, he has worked with Wipro Technologies and Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions. 

 

He is responsible for managing Quantum Long Term Equity Value Fund and Quantum Tax Saving Fund. The latter has offered returns of 15.64% since its inception.

3. Christy Mathai

Christy Mathai, who is a CFA charter holder and has PGD in Management (Finance), is currently a Fund Manager at Quantum Asset Management Company. Before joining this company, he has worked for Great Eastern Shipping Family Office and Tata Consultancy Services. 

 

He is now responsible for managing Quantum Long Term Equity Value Fund and Quantum Tax Saving Fund. The former has offered returns of 12.93% since its launch. 

4. Sneha Joshi

Sneha Joshi, who holds M.A. in Economics and Ph.D. in Economics, has an experience of more than 8 years in researching quantitative economics and credit. Starting her journey as a Quantitative and Credit Analyst in 2015, Joshi has made her way upwards to hold the office of Fund Manager. 

 

Before her association with Quantum Asset Management, she worked as Fixed Income Research Assistant with Credit Capital Research. Joshi manages the Quantum India ESG Equity Fund, which has offered 15% returns since its inception.

5. Ghazal Jain

Ghazal Jain, who works as a Fund Manager at Quantum AMC, has an experience of almost 5 years working in the Finance and Alternative investments sections. She holds an MBA degree in Finance from NMIMS, Mumbai. 

 

Before joining Quantum AMC in 2019, Jain has worked in different roles for Fox Education LLP and Bahubali Electronics Pvt Ltd. She is currently responsible for asset and investment allocation.
