Identification of a medical emergency  

One can’t claim any teleconsultation services if a medical emergency has been identified in the teleconsultation. 

Medicines or tests 

There’s no coverage available for the medicines or tests being prescribed by the doctor for further diagnosis or treatment. 

Inability of the doctor to provide telehealth consultation

There are times when a doctor is not able to provide a complete assessment based on high-quality evidence via telehealth consultation. Doctors are mostly trained to conduct teleconsultation appropriately on a case-by-case basis. They will make sure that the patient receives standard teleconsultation; however, if they are unable to meet the requirements or provide adequate assessment for advice, they will advise the policyholder to visit the doctor physically for better treatment.
