What’s not Covered? 

It is also necessary to take note of some of the exclusions of the HIV Care Plan cover:

  • Lab Test Benefit Transfer

The lab test benefit cannot be transferred to any other individual/ family member/ dependent. It must be utilised by the policyholder in one lab visit. 

  • Physical Consultations

The Teleconsultation Benefit is not applicable to in-person sessions with the doctor and must be solely in the form of chat, or audio/ video calls. 

  • Policy Extension

The HIV Care Plan cover is not extendable, and cannot be carried forward post its expiry. The policyholder must repurchase it.

The recompense in case of doctor consultations and radiology/ lab cover can be claimed in the following ways:

  • Install and open the Bajaj Finserv Health application

  • Using your mobile number, log in to your account 

  • Tap on ‘Health Plans’, then click on the policy that you have purchased previously

  • Click on the ‘Lab & Radiology Benefit’ or the ‘Doctor Consultation’ button 

  • Fill in your details and upload the proof of payment

  • Enter your bank account details and upload a cancelled cheque copy

  • Finish the claim submission process

  • You will get your claim recompense amount in the next 48 working hours. The amount will be credited into your bank account directly

  • Open the Bajaj Finserv Health webpage and log in to your account using your registered mobile number 

  • Under the ‘My Health Plans’ section, select the purchased plan 

  • Click on the ‘Lab & Radiology Benefit’ or the ‘Doctor Consultation’ button

  • Fill in your details, then upload the payment invoice 

  • Enter your bank account details. Then upload a cancelled cheque scanned copy

  • Click on Submit

  • Your bank account will be credited with the claim reimbursement within 48 working hours

 

Emailing to Customer Service

  • Drop an email to customercare@bajajfinservhealth.in

  • Be sure to upload the payment receipt scanned copy. The invoice must have all the transaction details visible

  • State the claim specifics such as the bill amount, patient name, lab/hospital name, etc.

  • Also, state your bank account details ( name of the primary account holder, bank name, IFSC, account number) and upload a copy of the cancelled cheque 

  • The claim reimbursement will be processed within 48 working hours, after which the amount will be credited directly into your specified bank account

Tele-consultation Benefit

The cashless and teleconsultation claims can be raised by simply following any of the two ways mentioned below:

  • Log in to your account using your registered mobile number

  • In the ‘My Health Plans’ section, select the insurance plan you wish to raise a claim for, from the list of purchased plans

  • Tap on ‘Teleconsultation benefit’

  • From the doctors’ list, select the one you wish to consult.

  • Choose your preferred date and time

  • Click on Submit

  • The link to the teleconsultation session will be sent to you 15 mins prior to the scheduled time

  • The doctor will connect with you on the call on the scheduled date and time

  • An SMS containing the link to the voucher will be sent to you, on your registered mobile number. Enter the voucher code to reap the benefits of the cashless lab test package cover

    The Lab Test Package includes the HIV 1 and 2 Antibodies test, which is crucial for the early diagnosis of the ailment.
