What’s not Covered?

It’s also important to understand some of the exclusions of the IBS Care Plan:

● External Redemption of Lab Test Package

The policyholder cannot redeem the lab test package benefit outside of the network hospitals/ clinics. 

● Home Collection of Samples

 The home collection service of lab test samples is available in select cities only. In other locations, the policyholder must physically visit the hospital/ lab to submit his samples.

● Carry-Forward of Policy Benefit

In case the policyholder does not raise a claim during the one-year tenure, the benefits cannot be carried forward or redeemed, even if the policy is repurchased.

● Lab Test Package is Non-Transferable

The lab test package benefit must be redeemed wholly by the policyholder and cannot be transferred to any dependant or family member.

● Doctor Consultation Benefit is Not Cash Redeemable

The OPD/Doctor Consultation perk of the policy cannot be redeemed against cash.

Doctor Consultation Benefit/Lab and Radiology Benefit

The claims for recompense in case of radiology/ lab cover and doctor consultations can be raised in the ways stated below:

  • Register yourself using your mobile number

  • Locate ‘Health Plans’, then tap on the plan you have purchased

  • Click on ‘Lab & Radiology Benefit’ or ‘Doctor Consultation’

  • Type in your personal details and upload the payment receipt

  • Enter your bank account details and upload a cancelled cheque

  • Finish the claim submission process

  • You will receive your claim recompense in the next 48 working hours, with the amount being credited directly into your bank account

  • Open the Bajaj Finserv Health website- and complete the sign-up process

  • Select the plan that you have purchased under the ‘My Health Plans’ section

  • Click on either the ‘Lab & Radiology Benefit’ or the ‘Doctor Consultation’ button

  • Fill in the details prompted, and upload the payment invoice

  • Input your bank account details and submit a copy of a cancelled cheque

  • The claim reimbursement will be credited to your bank account within 48 working hours

  • Upload a scanned copy of the proof of payment. It must have all the details visible

  • Remark the claim specifics like patient name, lab/hospital name, bill amount, etc.

  • Input the details of your bank account (IFSC, bank name, name of primary account holder, account number) and submit a cancelled cheque scanned copy

  • The reimbursement claim will be processed within 48 hours, after which the amount will be directly credited into your bank account.

 

Tele-consultation Benefit

In the case of teleconsultation and cashless claims, the claim can be raised by following either of the two methods stated below:

  • You will find your purchased policies under the ‘My Health Plans’ section. Click on the one you want to raise a claim for.

  • Click on the option called ‘Teleconsultation benefit’

  • From the list of doctors displayed, click on the doctor you wish to consult.

  • Input the preferred date and time

  • Click on Submit

  • A link will be sent to you to join the teleconsultation call 15 mins prior to the scheduled session

The doctor will connect on call on the date and time chosen by the policyholder
