What is the Sports Care cover?

Playing sports is a great way to maintain both physical and mental well-being. However, indulging in sports brings with it the potential risk of injuries and other ailments. These injuries can sometimes be life-threatening and may require costly treatments. 

 

Bajaj Markets brings you the Sports Care plan. Under this plan, you can get a number of benefits, such as lab and radiology testing and medical consultations. You can also take advantage of a range of exclusive network discounts available for members.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to subscribe to the Sports Care cover, you must meet some basic eligibility criteria: 

• Applicant’s age should be 18 years and above
• You must be an Indian resident

Here’s what’s covered under the Sports Care cover : 

Lab and Radiology Benefit

The lab and radiology benefit covers the utilisation of any pathology or radiology tests up to the benefit amount. Here are a few benefits included in the plan:

 

• Take any pathology or radiology test of your choice from any lab/radiology centre and get reimbursed up to the benefit amount. Lab or Radiology invoice with the amount, stamp, and consumption date should be legible and clearly visible on the uploaded invoice for approval.

• This benefit is applicable to all members listed under this policy.

• The benefit amount can either be claimed in a single visit or be spread over multiple pathology or radiology tests to the extent of the value of benefits.

OPD/Doctor Consultation Benefit

Doctor consultation benefit refers to and involves any consultation with a doctor with a degree of at least MBBS, BAMS, BDS, or BHMS up to the benefit amount mentioned under the plan details. In case any specific doctor/medical speciality is offered under the plan, you can consult with the doctor or the specialist. In case no speciality is mentioned, you can consult any doctor of your choice. Here are a few benefits that are included:

 

• Consult with a doctor of your choice subject to a minimum degree of MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BHMS (allopathic, dental, homoeopathic, and ayurvedic dental) as per the doctor’s speciality offered in the plan. Submit the invoice for reimbursement. The invoice should clearly state doctor consultation fees, doctor name and speciality, doctor registration number, doctor stamp, date of consultation, and customer details for reimbursement.  

• This benefit is applicable to all members listed under the policy.

• The benefit amount can be claimed in a single visit or can be spread over multiple visits for doctor consultations to the extent of the value of benefits.

Network discounts

Discounts are offered on healthcare expenses within the network. Here is a list of discounts that you can get.

 

• OPD Consultation Discount: 10%

• Lab & Radiology Discount: 10%

• Health Plans & Packages Discount: 10%

• Pharmacy Discount: 10%

• Spectacle Discounts: 10%

• Dental Procedure Discounts: 10%

• Room Rent Discount: 5%

• Free Ambulance for IPD Admissions

Note:

• Network Discounts are applicable only at the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime network. Please note that all network discounts may not be applicable at all Bajaj Finserv Health Prime networks.

• Network discounts can be utilised multiple times (unlimited) with no cap on the maximum amount of discount that can be opted by the customer.

How to Make a Claim

Doctor Consultation Benefit/Lab and Radiology Benefit

The reimbursement claims for doctor consultations or lab and radiology benefits can be raised in the following three ways:

• Download the Bajaj Finserv Health app

• Sign-up using your registered mobile number

• Under my ‘Health Plans’, select the purchased plan

• Select ‘Doctor Consultation’ or ‘Lab & Radiology Benefit’, whichever is applicable to you

• Enter the necessary details and upload the invoice

• Share your bank account details and upload a cancelled cheque

• Submit the claim

• The claim amount will be reimbursed within 48 working hours directly into your bank account

Bajaj Finserv Health Website

• Sign-up on the Bajaj Finserv Health website

• Under my ‘Health Plans’, select purchased plan

• Select ‘Doctor Consultation’ or ‘Lab & Radiology Benefit’, whichever is applicable

• Enter the necessary details and upload the invoice

• Share bank account details and upload a cancelled cheque

• Submit your claim

• The claim will be reimbursed within 48 working hours directly into your bank account

Emailing Customer Service

• Email to customercare@bajajfinservhealth.in

• Attach a scanned copy of the invoice with all the details, and ensure that all relevant details are visible 

• Enter required details like hospital/lab name, patient name, and bill amount

• Share bank account details (account number, bank name, IFSC, primary account holder’s name) and upload a cancelled cheque

• The claim will be reimbursed within 48 hours directly into your bank account

Tele-consultation Benefit

You can benefit from cashless claims or teleconsultation under this policy plan by following any of the two methods listed below:

• Sign-up using your registered mobile number

• Under ‘My Health Plans’, select the purchased plan

• Click on the ‘Teleconsultation benefit’ option

• Select the doctor of choice from the list of doctors

• Select the date and time of choice

• Click on ‘Submit’

• You will receive a link to join the call 15 mins before the consultation

• The doctor will join the call on the scheduled day and time

• Sign-up using your registered mobile number

• Under my “Health Plans”, select purchased plan

• Select the ‘Teleconsultation benefit’ option

• Select the doctor of your choice from the list of doctors

• Select the date and time of choice

• Click on ‘Submit’

• You will receive the link to join the call 15 mins before the consultation

• The doctor will join the call on the scheduled day and time

Lab Test Package (Prime Network Only)

You can get cashless claims for the lab test package in the following ways:

• Select the hospital/lab of your choice

• The customer care executive will call to confirm the customer’s identity using OTP

• SMS with voucher link shared on the registered mobile number

• An SMS with the voucher link will be shared on the registered mobile number. Share the voucher code to reap cashless lab test package benefits

Network Discounts

Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network offers discounts on healthcare services, which can be opted for in any of the following ways: 

 

• Visit the healthcare services offered by any hospital/lab which is a part of the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network

• Mention the benefit requested on the network, along with your registered mobile number, to the billing executive

• You’ll receive an OTP, which you will have to share with the executive. 

• Upon sharing the OTP, you can get up to 10% discounts on selected services at the hospital/network under the Bajaj Finserv Health Prime Network.
