Eligibility Criteria

In order to subscribe to the Teleconsultation Cover Plan, you must meet some basic eligibility criteria: 

 

●       Applicant must be an Indian resident

 

●       Applicant’s age should be 18 years and above

What's Covered

Here’s what’s covered under this plan:

 

• Consult doctors when you require medical advice.

• Consult doctors from the comfort of your home at just the click of a button.

• Get teleconsultation with live video and voice calls with a doctor.

• Upload medical reports, prescriptions and/or pictures to consult with a doctor.

• Get consultations in both English and Hindi.

• Get unlimited teleconsultations during the year.

  The doctor answers the policyholder’s questions concerning his/her medical condition following a hospitalisation, immobilisation or an illness and the prescription is made by the treating doctor. The doctor provides an opinion regarding what the specific individual should or should not do to restore or preserve health.  Information on general health issues such as health care facilities, risk factors, drug issues, preventive information, general medical issues, information on alternative medicine, and pain management centres is provided.

 

General physicians can be consulted through the LiveDoc India Allianz Assistance app by following the steps below:

 

• Create your account on the app.

• Select the 'I am a covered customer' option.

• Enter your membership number and date of birth.

• Sign-in to LiveDoc India by Allianz Assistance.

• Click on 'See a doctor now'.

• Consult a doctor via call.

Policy Plan and Specifications

What’s Not Covered

Here’s what’s not covered under this plan:

 

• All medicines and/or tests being prescribed by the doctor for treatment or further diagnosis.

• At times, the consulting doctor may not be able to provide an assessment using telehealth consultation. Consulting doctors are trained and equipped to assess the appropriateness of conducting telehealth consultations on a case-by-case basis. They will ensure that each consultation meets set standards required for patient examination and evaluation. In case they are unable to make a full and/or adequate assessment for advice, based on high-quality evidence, they will recommend the subscriber to visit a doctor physically.

• Teleconsultations when the teleconsultation service or the consulting physician identifies a medical emergency.
