Telangana (TS) and other states of the county have started issuing e-challans for anyone violating the traffic rules. According to the New Motor Vehicles Act of 2019, in TS, e-challans issued by traffic police can range from ₹1,000 to ₹20,000, based on the severity of the violation.
You can pay the TS e-challan online through the official traffic police website or through the Parivahan platform. For offline payments of your TS e-challan, you will have to visit the police station in your vicinity.

To check your TS e-challan status, follow these steps:
Visit the Parivahan website
Provide the required details (registration no., challan no., etc)
In case no TS e-challans are issued, the screen will display a message that states the same
If your have TS e-challans, you will be able to see them on the screen

Enter the requested details
Answer a simple mathematical question and click on the ‘GO’ button
Check the outstanding TS e-challans
Choose your payment mode to pay the fine
Apart from the above-mentioned method, you can also pay the TS e-challan through the Parivahan website. The steps for that are:
Step 1: Visit https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/index/accused-challan
Step 2: Enter the details asked (TS e-challan no., registration no., licence no., etc)
Step 3: Submit the captcha code to get details
Step 4: Check TS e-challan details
Step 5: Proceed to process the payment for the traffic fine.
Once you have successfully paid the TS e-challan, you will receive confirmation about the same. Save the intimation for future reference.
You can pay your e-challan online using the Paytm app or website. Here are the steps to pay e-challan using Paytm.
On Mobile Application:
Install and open the Paytm app
Click on ‘Recharge & Pay Bills’ and then choose ‘Challan’
Select the appropriate traffic authority
Enter the required details
Click on the ‘Proceed’ button and check the issues TS e-challan
Choose a preferable payment option and complete the transaction
On Paytm Website:
Step 1: Visit the ‘Challan Bill Payment’ tab on the official Paytm website.

Step 3: Enter necessary details
Step 4: Click on the ‘Proceed’ button to check the challan amount.

Apart from the above methods, you can pay the issues TS e-challan offline. For which you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Take the copy of your TS e-challan to the nearest traffic police station.
Step 2: Approach the designated authorities responsible for the collection of traffic fines.
Step 3: Pay the penalty in cash. You can also request the authorities to check for pending fines (if any) and pay the same immediately.
