If your Govt. Health Plan falls short while covering additional medical expenses exceeding existing coverage, Health Insurance Top-up will get you covered!
Health emergencies are perhaps the worst kind of emergencies that can crop up. While the stress related to the ill-health of a loved one is bad enough, its financial implications make it even worse.
Furthermore, the cost of healthcare has increased significantly over the last few years, making it all the more difficult to deal with the situation. In order to ensure that nobody is left untreated owing to financial concerns, the Assam government launched the Atal Amrit Abhiyan which seeks to make healthcare more affordable and cover critical care for BPL families.
Under Atal Amrit Abhiyan, APL and BPL families with an annual income of up to Rs. 5 Lakhs annually can receive cashless treatment and never miss out on any medical aid. The Atal Amrit Yojana is being implemented through Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt. Ltd. which will issue the Atal Amrit Card to individual adult members of the families that are eligible for this scheme.
Once the Atal Amrit Abhiyan Card check is done, you will be required to pay Rs. 100 annually towards the scheme. While the Atal Amrit Yojana makes healthcare affordable across the state of Assam, individuals can also avail cost-effective health insurance plans through Finserv MARKETS and avail cashless facilities at more than 6,500 hospitals across the nation.
The benefits of holding an Atal Amrit Abhiyan card are many. Read on to learn more.
