Vehicle Registration at RTO Surat

As per the norms mentioned in the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988, an individual is not allowed to ride any vehicle that is not registered under the state RTO. An individual needs to get vehicle registration in Surat. If the vehicle is not registered with the state RTO, the owner will have to pay a penalty and other charges as per the norms.

There are two categories in Surat vehicle registration –

  • Temporary Registration

The temporary vehicle registration in Surat is generally handled by the showroom dealers. It is valid for 30 days from the purchase date of the vehicle.

  • Permanent Registration
