RTO Madhya Pradesh (MP)

In the RTO of MP, there are two types of vehicle registration process that have been briefly discussed below:

Temporary registration: If you are planning to leave MP, you may apply for a temporary registration. Note that this option has only a month’s validity after which you may have to apply for permanent registration. You require the following documents to complete the registration process:

• Form 21/ sales certificate

• Address proof

• Form 22

• Customs clearance certificate

• PUC certificate

• Fees

Permanent registration: The Motor Vehicle Act clearly states that you must complete permanent registration to drive your vehicle on the road. Visit the nearest of the RTO of MP to register your vehicle. Make sure you submit the documents mentioned below:

• Roadworthiness certificate from manufacturer/ Form 22

• Ex-army vehicle sales certificate

• Pollution control certificate

• Motor insurance

• Address proof
