• The applicant for insurance must be a resident of India.

• If your age as of your last birthday falls between 36 and 50 years, you are eligible for the Covid-19 home care treatment insurance.

The following features are NOT covered in the Home Care Treatment (for COVID 19):

1. Hospitalisation other than COVID 19: 

Hospitalisation due to any other reasons will not be covered under this plan. It is strictly prohibited in COVID 19 cases.

 

2. OPD (Physical Consultations): 

No physical consultations will be covered under this plan. If the doctor prescribes a physical visit to the hospital, the expenses will be borne by the patient.

 

3. Pre-existing conditions: 

Any ‘pre-existing’ conditions, including COVID 19, will not be covered under the plan. 

 

 

4. Diagnosis within 15-days of policy purchase: 

 

If the diagnosis for COVID 19 is done within 15-days of policy purchase, the expense will not be applicable.

These features will not be covered under the insurance.
