Covered vehicle’s battery has outlived its shelf life resulting in a flat battery and possibly requiring a replacement.

  • Lack of fuel

Fuel shortage, which leads to the immobilisation of the covered vehicle at the incident site, requiring assistance or towing to a repair shop.

  • Wrong fuel/Other Fuel Problem

Frozen fuel, wrong fuel, or polluted fuel which results in the immobilisation of the covered vehicle at the incident site and requiring on-the-spot assistance.

Every kilometre travelled/to be travelled by the beneficiary shall be charged to the beneficiary, and any additional cost will have to be paid by the beneficiary directly with the taxi provider.

What’s not Covered under Road Trip Solutions Covering 4-Wheeler - Pan India For 3 Months?

The Roadside Assistance Cover does not cover any of the events stated below. Allianz Assistance will not assist or reimburse you or your beneficiaries in the event of a call for assistance or claim caused by, arising from, or in connection with any of the following:

  • Any loss, damage, theft, bodily injury, death, cost, or expense that is not directly associated with the incident that caused you to claim, unless expressly stated in this membership.

  • Radioactive contamination or ionising radiation from any nuclear fuel or the nuclear waste arising from burning nuclear fuel.

  • Radioactive, explosive, toxic, or other dangerous properties of any explosive nuclear equipment or nuclear part of that equipment.

  • War, acts of foreign enemies, invasion, terrorism, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, military or usurped power, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, riot or civil commotion.

  • Declared natural disasters as following specified events due to natural causes: Hail, flood, lightning, storm, wind, hurricane, rain, sleet or snow, or other similar events when officially declared as a natural disaster by the authorities and which results in the immobilisation of the vehicle.

  • The consequences of the use of narcotics, drugs and similar products not medically ordered and the abuse of alcohol.

  • The consequences of intentional acts by the covered or the consequences of fraudulent acts.

  • Suicide or suicides attempts

  • Costs incurred without prior agreement, or expenses that are not specifically stated as being covered within this membership.

  • The consequences of incidents occurring during races, events, or motorised competitions (or their tests), subject to prior regulations of the public authorities, when the covered person participates as a competitor.

  • The cost of replacement parts, unless specifically mentioned in Your Assistance Coverage document.

  • The beneficiary/beneficiaries or any other third party organising any of the services detailed in this membership without first having authorization and a file number

  • Any costs that would have been payable normally by you or the beneficiaries, such as congestion, fuel, or toll charges.

  • Charges for specialist recovery or charges incurred where the covered vehicle is not being used on a public highway when the breakdown/immobilisation occurred, and the vehicle was not accessible using standard recovery equipment unless specifically mentioned in the policy document.

  • Any consequences of your vehicle not being kept in a roadworthy condition or not being serviced according to the manufacturer's recommendations. In such cases, Allianz Assistance reserves the right to request proof of service. 

  • Immobilizations of the Vehicle are determined by systematic recalls by the manufacturer, non-periodic and periodic maintenance operations, checks, and assembly of accessories.

  • Repetitive breakdowns caused by the non-repair of the vehicle after our initial intervention.

  • Fuel gauge not functioning properly.

  • Speedometer not functioning properly.

  • Faulty air-conditioning.

  • Boot cannot be opened.

  • Problems relating to horns.

  • Damaged mirrors.

  • Damaged or faulty fuel cap. 

  • Sunroof cannot be opened.

  • Closed windows cannot be opened. 

  • Closed seat adjuster is faulty.

  • Seat belts are faulty.

  • Traction control lights are lit.

  • Rear or front wipers are faulty, but weather conditions are fair.
