To apply for a PDS Jharkhand ration card, follow the steps mentioned below: 

1. Visit the Jharkhand Ration card management system website: https://jsfss.jharkhand.gov.in/ 

2. Click on ‘Register to apply for Ration Card’ 

3. Fill in the required details in the application form, such as name, father’s name, gender, category, and date of birth

4. Enter additional Jharkhand ration card details such as Aadhaar number, mobile number, address, and upload a digital copy of your Aadhaar Card 

5. Check the tick box and click ‘Register’ to submit

6. After submission, note down the acknowledgement number for future reference

7. Take a printout of the application form, attach the required documents, and submit them to the Block Supply Officer (BSO) or District Supply Officer (DSO)

8. Collect a receipt from the office as proof of submission

9. The officer will review your application, and if approved, your new ration card will be issued

DigiLocker

1. Visit the official DigiLocker website/ app to access your digital ration card

2. If you are a new user, sign up with your name, mobile number, date of birth, and verify via OTP (Existing users can simply log in)

3. Head to the Search Documents option and search for ‘Ration Card’

4. Select the ‘Food and Civil Supplies Department, Jharkhand’ 

5. Check the pre-filled details 

6. Enter your Aadhaar card number and mobile number, then click on ‘Get Document’ to view your card

7. Your ration card will appear under ‘Issued Documents’

8. Click the download icon to save the PDF on your device

You can update and manage your family details on your ration card online through the Jharkhand ration card management system. Follow the steps below:

1. Visit the official website of PDS Jharkhand at: https://pds.jharkhand.gov.in/secc_cardholders/ercmsProcess 

2. Read the options available to update different types of information and click on ‘Proceed’ 

3. From the dropdown menu, choose an option, such as ‘Change dealer type’ or ‘Transfer member’

4. Click ‘Submit’ 

5. On the redirected page, enter your Ration card number and mobile number, and click on ‘Submit’ 

6. Add your Aadhaar card number and request an OTP 

7. Take a printout of the updated page and submit it along with the required documents at the nearest District Supply Office (DSO) 

To add a member to your Jharkhand ration card, follow these steps:

1. Visit https://jsfss.jharkhand.gov.in/SeccCardholders/index

2. Click on ‘Cardholder Login’

3. Log in using your UID or ration card number by selecting the appropriate option

4. Enter the required information on the next screen and proceed to log in

5. Select the ‘Add Member’ option

6. Fill in all necessary details of the new member, including personal and identification information

7. Submit the form to successfully add the member to your ration card

 

To remove a member from your Jharkhand ration card, follow these steps:

1. Go to https://jsfss.jharkhand.gov.in/SeccCardholders/index

2. Click on ‘Cardholder Login’

3. Log in using your UID or ration card number

4. Enter the required details and log in

5. Choose the ‘Delete Member’ option

6. Provide the necessary details of the member to be removed

7. Confirm and submit to successfully delete the member from your ration card

Here is how you can make changes to your ration card:

1. Select an Activity

• Go to ERCMS and choose one activity from the dropdown:

• Changing dealer

• Adding a family member

• Removing a family member

• Correction of name (contact District Supply Officer for this)

• Changing card type

• Correction/change of mobile number

• Correction/change of bank account number

• Correction/change of UID

Enter your Ration Card number and mobile number to receive SMS updates.

Complete the form for your selected activity and click ‘Send Request’.

1. Confirmation

On the confirmation page, click ‘OK’ to get an acknowledgement number and submit it to the Block Supply Officer (BSO).

Take a printout of the completed application and note the Acknowledgement Number for future reference.

Submit the form and attachments at the concerned BSO office and collect a receipt.

Click on ‘Check Status’ in ERCMS and enter your ration card number and acknowledgement number to track progress

2. Click on the ‘Online Services’ option in the navigation menu

3. Choose the ‘Register a Complaint’ option from the list that appears

4. Select the ‘Online Complaint’ option on the next page

5. Enter your district, block, dealer, help topic, email, mobile number, and click on ‘Submit’ 

6. Fill in the complaint form with all the necessary details

7. Submit the complaint form online
