On your phone or computer browser, open the PDS or Public Distribution System portal website for your state.
Click on ‘LINK AADHAAR WITH RATIONCARD’ (or similar text).
Once you find it, click on it and then fill in your Ration and Aadhaar details.
After completing the online form, you will receive an OTP on your mobile number linked to your Aadhaar number.
If you want to link the Ration card with the Aadhaar card offline, you will have to visit the nearest PDS shop. You can also choose to visit the Ration shop closest to your home. To complete your Ration to Aadhaar link, you must:

On your phone’s message app, type UID SEED <Ration Card Number> <Aadhaar Number>.
Then send the message to your state’s PDS helpline number.
If it is active, then you will receive a confirmation SMS.
If this service isn’t available in your state, use the online method or the Mera Ration app instead.

However, when linking the two online, the verification is done using OTP (one-time password), which is sent to the number linked to your Aadhaar card.
