Aadhaar Grievance Redressal

You can contact Aadhaar card customer care online and offline.  Here is the information about both methods listed for the same. 

 Online Method

  1. As a first step, you may visit the official website of UIDAI pgportal.gov.in.

  2. After accessing the website, you will view the ‘Grievance’ option on the main page.

  3. Next, click on that and select the ‘Lodge Public Grievance’ option. 

  4. Now you will be asked to fill up a form.

  5. After filling up all the necessary details, submit the form. 

  6. Following that, you will receive a text message or email with an update on your request.

Aadhaar Redressal Process 

Once you submit your grievance form, several steps are taken to resolve your issue.

Below are the steps mentioned:

  1. Clearance is taken from the Deputy Director (UIDAI Public Grievance Officer).

  2. After receiving approval from the Deputy Director, the matter is investigated and forwarded to the appropriate regional office.

  3. Following that, the assigned regional office will look into the issue and resolve it.

  4. After resolving the problem, the regional office will provide them updates related to it online. 

How to File Complaints Online through the Resident Portal for an Aadhar Card

Here are the steps to register a complaint online through the resident portal.

  • You can visit pgportal.gov.in to submit your grievances so that they can be answered as soon as feasible.

  • You need to fill up an application form along with your personal data, enrolment ID, location, and complaint information.

  • Next, you are required to submit the form.

  • As the last step, you will receive an email or text message with an update on your request.
