Application details: Fill in demographic details such as name, date of birth, gender, and address carefully.
Appointment slot selection: Choose a date and time slot from the available options shown on the portal.
Confirmation and slip generation: Submit the form and download the Aadhaar card online appointment confirmation or pre-enrolment slip, which is required during the centre visit.
This process completes the initial stage of aadhaar appointment booking.
Aadhaar enrolment is initiated online but completed physically at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra.
The process involves the following steps:
Appointment booking: Book an appointment UIDAI provides through its online portal before visiting the centre.
Centre visit: Visit the selected Aadhaar Seva Kendra on the scheduled date with required documents.
Form verification: Confirm or complete the enrolment form submitted during the online booking stage.
Biometric data capture: Provide fingerprints, iris scan, and photograph for identity verification.
Acknowledgement receipt: Collect the enrolment slip containing the Enrolment ID (EID) used for status tracking.

At the Aadhaar Seva Kendra, the enrolment process follows a standard operational flow after arrival.
Key stages involved are:
Queue and token system: Entry is managed through token issuance or scheduled appointment validation at the centre.
Verification check: Submitted documents are matched with original copies before proceeding further.
Data confirmation: Demographic details are reviewed on-screen to ensure accuracy before submission.
Biometric collection: Fingerprints, iris scan, and photograph are captured using authorised UIDAI devices.
Final acknowledgement: Enrolment ID is generated and provided for tracking Aadhaar application status.
Document verification is part of the Aadhaar enrolment process and must be completed at the centre.
