Farmers will not have to collateralise their property while applying for this credit. Thus, they can instantly apply for a loan without stressing about losing their property if they default.
The government has sanctioned credit against this card at an interest rate of up to 2% to 4%. So, farmers can save substantially on the EMIs, and easily pay them on time.
Borrowers will have the flexibility to select repayment tenure of their credit as per their convenience. Thus, they can select a longer one for easy EMIs, or a shorter one for early repayment.
Individuals can get a credit of up to ₹3 Lakhs. This amount is sufficient to cover their urgent requirement for funds. They can use it for purchasing fertilisers or pesticides, or any other farm needs.
