Typically, you should receive a response to your query within 10 working days. However, if you do not receive a revert from the RBL Bank within 30 days, you can get in touch with the Banking Ombudsman for further help.
In compliance with the Reserve Bank of India, RBL Bank has an Ombudsman Scheme in place as part of an effective Grievance Redressal System. In case the customer has any grievances against the bank or feels that the customer service has not been at par even after submitting complaints to the Nodal Officer level, he/she can file a complaint with an Ombudsman. Generally, the complaint is filed with the Ombudsman within whose territorial jurisdiction the customer’s billing address falls.
Once the complaint is filed with an Ombudsman, he/she will demand copies of certificates and other relevant documents related to the dispute/query/complaint from the bank as well as the customer. The appointed Nodal Officer for the specific branch will act as a representative of the bank and will be responsible for furnishing information about the complaint as well as the course of action taken. The Ombudsman maintains complete discretion while following up with the settlement.
