Aadhaar Card Verification

• Step 3: Click on ‘Login’

• Step 3: Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number

• Step 4: Create a share code of 4 characters and type in the security code that you see 

• Step 5: Verify your Aadhaar card with the OTP that you receive on your mobile

• Step 6: Download the paperless offline e-KYC as a password-protected ZIP file onto your device and open it using the share code

Share the ZIP file with the share code and the mobile number for the Aadhaar card to the service provider. 

Additionally, you can visit the office of an Offline Verification Seeking Entity (OVSE) and submit a physical copy of your Aadhaar letter or card to verify Aadhaar offline. The OVSE will then verify the QR code to check the digital signature and authenticate the document. 

This method preserves your privacy as it does not need UIDAI’s involvement or the need for biometrics. It only requires the last 4 digits of your Aadhaar number. Remember, any type of Aadhaar verification can only be done with your informed consent, be it online or offline.
