Kotak Mahindra Bank informs about update on appointment of new manager director
Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (‘Listing Regulations’), Kotak Mahindra Bank has informed that, based on an application made by the Bank, the Reserve Bank of India (‘RBI’) has, vide its letter dated September 30, 2026 (received by the Bank at 5:53 p.m. (IST) on September 30, 2026), accorded its approval under Section 35B of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949 for the appointment of Anup Kumar Saha as the new Managing Director & CEO of the Bank, for a period of three years, with effect from January 1, 2027. A brief profile of Saha and a copy of the media release being issued by the Bank in this connection are attached as Annexures 1 and 2, respectively. The Board of Directors of the Bank will initiate further steps in due course, to formalize the aforesaid appointment and also seek members’ approval for the same. This intimation is also being made available on the Bank’s website https://www.kotak.bank.in/en/investorrelations/governance/sebi-listing-disclosures.html in terms of the Listing Regulations.
