FIIs were net buyers of Rs 8607.02 crore in index futures and options segments on July 29
According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 8607.02 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Wednesday’s data, July 29, 2026.
FIIs were net buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 1711.14 crore and net buyers of index options worth Rs 6895.88 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 3263.12 crore and they bought stock options worth Rs 310.66 crore.
F&O total turnover stood at Rs 67,03,292.03 crore on July 29
Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 67,03,292.03 crore on July 29 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 4,64,96,153.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 12,724.36 crore, Stock Futures Rs 79,393.07 crore and Index Options Rs 61,93,985.01 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 4,17,189.59 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood at 0.84, while the Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.91 and that of Stock Options was 0.50.
