FIIs were net buyers of Rs 7637.26 crore in index futures and options segments on August 17
According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 7,637.26 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Monday's data, August 17, 2026.
FIIs were net sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 785.35 crore and net buyers of index options worth Rs 8,422.61 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 146.55 crore and they sold stock options worth Rs 428.63 crore.
F&O total turnover stood at Rs 2,11,17,390.34 crore on August 17
Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 2,11,17,390.34 crore on August 17 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 13,72,73,451.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 11,124.20 crore, Stock Futures Rs 56,432.19 crore and Index Options Rs 2,05,16,509.88 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 5,33,324.07 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood at 0.95, while the Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.99 and that of Stock Options was 0.46.
