In continuation to its earlier intimation Ref GIC-HO/BOARD/SE-DIR-5/150/2026-27 dated 13th August 2026, General Insurance Corporation of India has informed that the date of assumption of office of Shri Hiteshkumar Kismatbhai Bhandari (DIN: 11890575), as Part-time Non-Official Director on the Board of the Corporation is 13th August 2026. Hiteshkumar Kismatbhai Bhandari is not related to any of the existing Directors of the Corporation and is not debarred from holding office of Director by virtue of any SEBI Order or any other authority.

No. 6/2(vii)/2026-BO-I dated 12th August 2026 has conveyed that the Central Government, in exercise of its powers under Article No. 75 of the Articles of Association of General Insurance Corporation of India, appoints Hiteshkumar Kismatbhai Bhandari, as Part-time Non-Official Director on the Board of the Corporation for a period of three years from the date of issuance of the aforesaid letter (i.e. 12.08.2026), or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
