UltraTech Cement informs about changes in board composition
UltraTech Cement has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company, at its meeting held today, has considered the following: Relinquishment of position as Non-Executive Vice Chairman of the Company by K. K. Maheshwari (DIN: 00017572) due to his current engagements and other personal commitments with effect from 1st January, 2027. The cessation request letter is attached as Annexure A; Kailash Chandra Jhanwar (DIN: 01743559) will be completing his term as Managing Director on 31st December, 2026. Based on the recommendation of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee, the Board has approved the re-designation of Mr. Kailash Chandra Jhanwar as Non-Executive Vice Chairman of the Company with effect from 1st January, 2027. Brief details as required are provided in Annexure B. The meeting commenced at 12 noon and concluded at 1:40 PM.
