The Rajasthan government has issued rules for promoting and regulating the real estate sector under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act 2016. Through this effort, the Rajasthan RERA will foster the growth and promotion of a healthy, transparent, efficient, and competitive real estate sector.
The RERA Act in Rajasthan covers every area of the industry, from regulating the entire real estate sector in Rajasthan to fostering transparency and accountability in every real estate transaction to standardising property prices. RERA Rajasthan also seeks to provide a safe environment for investment in the state and protect home buyers' rights by allowing them to file complaints against developers.
Rajasthan's RERA rules are separated into ten chapters. Each chapter covers RERA laws for a variety of topics, including the documentation needed to register a real estate project, the extension of registered projects, and the collection of fees and registration/renewal charges from agents and promoters.
