An NSE clearing holiday is a day when settlement operations stop. Trading may continue on some clearing holidays. No fund transfers or securities deliveries occur on this day. Settlement resumes on the next working day.
An NSE settlement holiday is a non-working day for settlement activities. You cannot complete fund transfers on this day. Trades executed before the holiday will settle later. Settlement happens on the next available working day after the holiday.
