NSE has yet to release the final date for the clearing holidays. Once the date gets updated, you can plan the date for the settlement of the trades executed.
With these dates in mind, you can easily plan your vacations. Furthermore, if you need funds to finance your vacation, you can opt for a loan for travel. On Bajaj Markets, you can explore personal loan options at competitive interest rates from reputed lenders.
In 2024, around 18 holidays are declared as NSE holidays based on the list mentioned above.
Trading holidays are the days when the trading community and employees both have a day off. On the other hand, clearing holidays are those days when the trading community is not trading. However, the exchange employees will continue to work.
You cannot buy and sell your stocks during the trading holidays. On clearing or settlement holiday, you can continue trading, but dealing with equity and F&O is not possible.
A settlement holiday also referred to as a Clearing Holiday is the day when the stock market remains closed, but you can settle the previous day’s dealings.
