You can now apply for a new PAN card both online and offline, making the process simpler than ever before. If you are a PAN card holder and have misplaced your card, you may apply online for a replacement or obtain an electronic PAN from UTIITSL. Read on to find out more about the offline and online UTI PAN card application processes.
Here is how to use the UTIITSL website to submit an online application for a new UTI PAN card:
Step 1: Go to the UTIITSL website and click on PAN Card for Indian Citizen or NRI under "PAN Services."
Step 2: Select "Apply for New PAN Card (Form 49A)"
Step 3: Select either the "Physical Mode," where you must send the printed-signed application form to the nearby UTIITSL office, or the "Digital Mode," where the application form is signed electronically using the DSC or Aadhaar authentication, and you are not required to produce a hard copy of the form.
Step 4: Enter the necessary personal and other information.
Step 5: Check the accuracy of the information entered and press the "Submit" button.
Step 6: After confirmation, you can proceed to pay the bill online by selecting one of the two payment gateway alternatives that are offered: PayU India or BillDesk. Payment options include cash cards, debit cards, credit cards, and net banking.
Step 7: You will receive a payment confirmation after a successful transaction. You have the option of saving this or printing it out.
Step 8: Attach two passport-sized photos (3.5 x 2.5 cm each) to the printed form and sign the space provided.
The offline technique is another option for applicants who want to apply for PAN cards. You can go to a nearby CSC PAN UTI facility and do the following actions:
Step 1: Download and print Form 49A. You can get the form at https://www.protean-tinpan.com/downloads/pan/download/Form_49A.PDF.
Step 2: Fill out the form and attach two passport-size photos.
Step 3: Pay the fee by demand draft made out to UTIITSL in Mumbai.
Step 4: Self-attested copies of the proofs should be included with the form.
Step 5: On the application form's envelope, write in superscript, "APPLICATION FOR PAN-N-Acknowledgement Number." You can mail the completed application to the UTIITSL PAN card centre that's the closest to you. Click here to find the closest UTIITSL PAN card centre.
Step 6: PAN card UTI will be generated and mailed to the applicant's residential address after the application has been processed successfully.
The cost to apply for a UTI PAN card that must be sent to an Indian address is ₹110, while the cost to apply for a new PAN card that must be sent outside of India is ₹1020 (inclusive of the GST). Demand drafts, credit/debit cards, or net banking can all be used to pay fees.

Typically, it takes a maximum of 15 working days from the application date for the PAN card to be issued by the UTI.
The two biggest PAN Card service providers in India are NSDL and UTI. There are not any significant distinctions between UTI and NSDL. Both portals are operated by the Indian government's department of income tax.
