You have applied and received your SBI credit card, after choosing one based on your preferences and shopping habits. However, you now find that for further correspondence, you may need to change your address. If you are wondering how to change the address in SBI credit card, there are two ways to do so - online and offline.
Listed below are the ways through which you can get your address changed for your SBI Credit Card:
To begin the process of SBI credit card address change online, head to the sbicard.com portal.
On the sbicard.com portal, click on the login button on the top right hand corner of the page.
If you are a new user, you should click on register now. It will take you to the registration page. Enter your card number, CVV number, and date of birth.
Once you’ve entered the card details, you will have to authenticate the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Once your OTP has been authenticated, you can create your password.
Now login by using your user ID and password.
Once you have logged in, it will take you to your profile. On the address tab, you can key in your current residential address.
Having done that, you will have to click on generate OTP. After the OTP has been validated, your address will be saved.
Head to the SBI Card mobile app page and download the app.
Once you have downloaded the app, you can log in with your user ID and password after registering.
Tap on the ‘Menu’ tab on the top left. Go to ‘My Profile’ and select ‘Address’.
Update and confirm your address.
Enter the OTP that has been sent to you on your registered number.
Your address is now updated.

You can also send an email with a self-attested KYC document as proof of address at sbicard.com/email.
Attach a duly-filled address change declaration form that is available on the sbicard.com website.
You may also send an email to the id email@example.com from your registered email id.
Visit your nearest SBI Bank branch and submit your request for SBI credit card address change. You would need to publish your proof of address and fill in an address change declaration form. Once submitted, your address will be changed.
Every credit card holder needs to submit ‘Know Your Customer’ details as per the Reserve Bank of India guidelines. You would need to submit self-attested proof of your current residential address from a list of acceptable documents. Listed below are the documents that you can submit for your SBI credit card address change:
Voter’s identity card (both sides)
Aadhaar card/virtual ID
ID card issued by the state or central government if it has your address mentioned.
Job card issued by NREGA and duly signed by a state government officer
Letter issued by the National Population Register with details of your name and address.
Any utility bills not more than two months old issued by any service provider, including for electricity, telephone, postpaid mobile phone, piped gas, water bill.
Property or municipal tax receipt
Pension or family pension payment orders (PPOs) issued to retired employees by government departments or PSUs if they have the address.
Letter of allotment of accommodation from employers issued by the state or central government departments, statutory or regulatory bodies, PSUs, scheduled commercial banks, financial institutions, and listed companies.

You should get it done so that you continue to receive any important communication from the bank regarding your SBI credit card. You may freshly have to apply for credit card and without updating your new/current address, you may not receive the card and the accompanying secure details with it. You can change your SBI credit card address by visiting the online portal - sbicard.com. Log in to the portal, fill in the details, and upload a scanned copy of address proof. You can submit any one of the acceptable KYC documents mandated by the RBI as proof of address.
