The production of e100 ethanol fuel relies entirely on domestic agricultural feedstocks rather than subterranean oil reserves. It begins with organic materials rich in sugar or starch, such as sugarcane juice, heavy molasses, corn (maize), damaged food grains, and agricultural waste.
