May 2023: The real estate developers’ body of the state urged IGRS Telangana to restart the registration of Gram panchayat plots. This comes after the state government forbade the registration of such lands.
The body brought forward that in the last two years, these landowners faced a number of problems. The problems were primarily because they could not sell the land and get emergency access to funds.
IGRS Telangana is an online portal introduced by the Telangana government with an objective of providing registered land-related documents to the public. With the help of IGRS, the Telangana government can maintain records and offer services concerning Telangana registration EC or revenue collection.
