Bhulekh Bihar is a part of the Bihar government’s initiative to digitize the land records under the union government’s National Land Record Modernization Program (NLRMP). You can search for land records on Bhulekh Bihar either by entering the serial number or by party name on the Bhumi Jankari portal. To check Bihar land records with serial number, you need to follow the below-mentioned steps:
Step 2: Click on “Searching by Serial No.” on the right side of the website.
Step 3: Depending upon the year of records you wish to check, select the appropriate option - “Post-Computerisation” (for land records from the year 2006 till present) or “Pre-Computerisation” (for land records from 1996 to 2006).

Step 1: Visit the official Bhumi Jankari website of the government of Bihar.

Step 2: Click on the “Bhu Manchitra” tab and a page with a map of Bihar will open.

Bhulekh Bihar is an easy-to-use portal to gain knowledge about land and properties in the state that can be accessed from anywhere. The website allows to search land records in Bihar using the party name and serial number:
Step 1: Once the user clicks on the tab ‘Search by party name’, the registration page appears.
Step 2: Select either pre-computerisation (1996-2006) or post-computerisation (2006 to present), depending on the year of registration.
Step 3: Enter the party name, select the appropriate years, choose the party type (Execute, Claimant or both), and then hit ‘View’ to see the Bihar Bhulekh documents.
To access details of the Land Record of the Bhulekh Bihar Portal, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit https://jamabandi.nic.in/land%20records/NakalRecord.
Step 2: Select your district, tehsil or sub tehsil, your village, and the Jamabandi year.
Step 3: Select one option from the drop-down that contains view all accounts by name, by Khasra number, by account number, or by account holder’s name.
Step 4: After having selected your criteria, you can fill in all the required fields.
Step 5: Click on “Search” to move towards accessing the details of land records.
You can also use another method to access land records.
Step 1: Login to bhumijankari.gov.in.
Step 2: Select “Searching by Party Name”.
Step 3: After logging in, you will be asked to choose between “Post Computerization (2006 to date)” or “Pre-Computerization (1996 to 2006)”
Step 4: Fill in your details such as Party Name, Party Type, etc.
Step 5: Click on “View” to access the details.
If you live in Bihar, you can check Khasra-Khatauni on the Bhumijankari or Bulekh Bihar website. Once you have entered the portal, click on Jamandi Register. Fill in all the required fields with your information like your district, halka, mauja and anchal. Upon clicking on the search option, you will be able to check Khasra-Khatauni.
Follow the steps given below to check the land map on the Bihar Portal.
Step 1: Open the Bhulekh Bihar website.
Step 2: Select “Land Map” and enter your login credentials.
Step 3: Click on “View Your Account”.
Step 4: Choose your district, village and circle name from the drop-down after which the land map will be visible to you.
Mutation of a property refers to the transfer of title from one owner to another. You can check the status of mutation for your property in Bihar on the Bhumi Jankari portal.
Step 1: Visit the official Bihar Bhumi Jankari portal.
Step 2: Register yourself on Bhumi Jankari. If you are already registered, just log in using your credentials.
Step 3: Now select the circle and the district and click on “Apply for Mutation”.
Step 4: Now select “On Application” under the “Mutation Initiation Type” dropdown menu.
Step 5: Now click on “Save as Draft and Next”. You will be prompted to upload the property documents on the next page.
Step 6: Upload the scanned sale deed and select “Save”. A receipt shall be generated which can be printed for future reference.
Dakhil Kharij is the process of getting the land purchased by you transferred in your name in government records. You get the official ownership of the land only after the Dakhil Kharij process is completed. You can apply for Dakhil Kharij on the Bihar Bhumi portal by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the Bihar Bhumi website.
Step 2: Click on “Online Application for Dakhil Kharij”.
Step 3: On the following page, you need to either register yourself as a new user or login with your username and password if you are an existing user.
Step 4: Once you are logged in, you will be prompted to enter some basic details like your name, mobile number, email address, town/city/village, district, state, and PIN code. Enter the requested details and click on “Register Now”.
Step 5: Now that you are registered, you can apply for Daakhil Kharij online through the portal.
The Bihar Bhumi portal also allows you to pay your Bhu Lagaan online. You can follow the steps mentioned below to make the payment of Bhu Lagaan online:
Step 1: Visit the Bihar Bhumi portal.
Step 2: Click on the “Bhu Lagaan” tab on the homepage.
Step 3: Now, click on “Pay Online Lagaan” on the page that opens.
Step 4: Fill in details such as the name of the district, name of the anchal, name of the Halka, Mauja name, present part, page number, and security code in the form on the next screen.
Step 5: Click on “Submit”. You will now be redirected to the payment gateway where you can pay your Bhu Lagaan.
In case your online transaction fails while making the Bhu Lagaan payment on the Bihar Bhumi portal, you can view the status of the same by following the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Visit the Bihar Bhumi portal.
Step 2: Click on the “Bhu Lagaan” tab on the home page.
Step 3: Now, click on “Failed Transaction Status” on the page that opens.
Step 4: Enter the payment ID of the failed transaction. The payment status of the Bhu Lagaan will be displayed.
Individuals who have signed up for Land Possession Certificate (LPC) have the right to change their case number and here is how you can check your changed LPC case number.
Log into the Biharbhumi portal. Click on ‘Changed LPC Number”. You will see a PDF with a list of the changed case numbers on your screen.
Parimarjan is an online portal of the Land and Revenue Department of the Bihar government. The portal allows the correction of incorrect entries in the digitized Jamabandi Register or Parimarjan. Feedback from citizens suggests that many Jamabandi documents are in need of a correction in terms of the name of Raiyat, Khata, or Khasra Number, Rakba involved, or the Lagaan that has been already paid or is applicable.
