FIIs were net sellers of Rs 7461.08 crore in index futures and options segments on May 07
According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 7461.08 crore in index futures and options segments, as per Thursday’s data, May 07, 2026.
FIIs were net sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 177.40 crore and net sellers of index options worth Rs 7283.68 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 2732.05 crore and they sold stock options worth Rs 5.82 crore.
F&O total turnover stood at Rs 90,15,176.71 crore on May 07
Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 90,15,176.71 crore on May 07 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 6,08,43,954.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 18,130.90 crore, Stock Futures Rs 87,960.09 crore and Index Options Rs 84,27,946.06 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 4,81,139.66 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood at 0.88, while the Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.94 and that of Stock Options was 0.49.
