What is Assistance for Purchase of House

The Assistance for Purchase of House scheme is implemented by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB) under the Labour Department, Government of Haryana. This broadly comes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

 

It provides interest-free financial assistance to registered construction workers for purchasing a house in Haryana. 

 

To qualify, a worker must have a minimum of 5 years of regular membership with the board. This initiative aims to support low-income construction workers in securing stable housing by easing their financial burden.

  • Maximum age limit is 52 years, ensuring repayment within the next 8 years

To register as a construction worker under HBOCWWB, applicants need the following documents:

  • Identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter Card)

  • Passport-size photograph

  • Attested work experience document

  • Proof of residence

  • Bank account details

  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

  • Proof of age

  • Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID)

  • Disability certificate (if applicable)

  • Ownership proof of the building (for maintenance only)

  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) from authorities for construction

How To Apply Online for the Scheme

To apply for this scheme applicants need to register themselves under the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (HBOCWWB).

Registration Under HBOCWWB

To register as a construction worker under the HBOCWWB, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Labour Department Haryana official website of https://hrylabour.gov.in/

 

2. Scroll down on the homepage and click on ‘Building & Ors Const. Workers Welfare Board’

 

3. You will be redirected to the instructions page

 

4. Read the instructions carefully, tick the acknowledgement box, and click ‘Submit’

 

5. You will be redirected to the ‘Verification before Registration’ page

 

6. If you do not have a PPP ID, select the respective option to get redirected to the PPP Portal and generate your Family ID. 

 

7. If you have a Family ID, follow these steps:

  1. Select ‘I have Family ID’

  2. Enter your Parivar Pehchan Patra number

  3. Tap on ‘Click here to fetch Family Details’ to view registered family members

 

Further, you will be asked to select the member for registration. Fill in the required details in the registration form and submit. Once registered successfully, log in using your username and password. Follow the instructions as prompted ahead

To apply for the Assistance for Purchase of House Scheme, follow these steps on the Antyodaya-SARAL Portal:

  1. Visit the official website of Antyodaya-SARAL portal https://saralharyana.gov.in/ 

     

2. If not registered already, click on ‘Register here’

 

3. New registration window will open

 

4. Fill your details and click on ‘Submit’

 

5. You will receive a login ID on your registered mobile number
