Bank of Baroda Credit Card Grievance Redressal

If you find that the response to your grievances is less than satisfactory, Bank of Baroda has a comprehensive grievance redressal mechanism that can help. There are two levels of grievance redressal that you can use to get your complaints resolved. Here’s a closer look.

Level 1

You can email your credit card grievances to BoB credit card at crm@bobfinancial.com. You would need to mention your name, credit card number, email ID, and registered mobile number in the email.

Once the complaint is lodged, a unique BoB credit card complaint number will be generated. You would need to quote this number when you interact with the BoB customer care in the future. You can expect a response to your query within three working days.

Level 2

If the Level 1 grievance redressal mechanism fails to address your issue satisfactorily, you can escalate the same to Level 2. To do this, you would need to send an email to crm1@bobfinancial.com. Do remember to mention your BoB credit card complaint number. You can expect a response within two working days of sending the email.

If your issue has not been successfully resolved at any of these levels, you can mail your grievance to the Assistant Vice President at the below-mentioned address.

BoB Financial Solutions Limited

2nd Floor, Baroda House,

Behind Dewan Shopping Centre

S.V. Road, Jogeshwari (W), Mumbai

Maharashtra 400 012

Alternatively, you can also send an email to escalations@bobfinancial.com with the complaint number.

Banking Ombudsman Scheme

If both the levels of grievance redressal mechanism of Bank of Baroda have failed to give you a satisfactory resolution, you can escalate the issue further via the Banking Ombudsman Scheme.

It is a special scheme devised by the Reserve Bank of India for resolving the grievances of customers. According to the scheme, a senior official is appointed as the Banking Ombudsman to oversee complaints and grievances regarding deficiencies in the banking services.

You can file your grievance with the Banking Ombudsman by simply writing a letter clearly specifying your complaint. This letter needs to be mailed to the Banking Ombudsman responsible for the jurisdiction where you are located. You can get details such as the area of operation and address of a Banking Ombudsman on the website of RBI.

On the other hand, if you prefer to file your grievance online, you can send an email to the Banking Ombudsman as well. For more information regarding the email address of the Ombudsman responsible for your jurisdiction, visit the website of RBI.

And finally, the Reserve Bank of India has also set up a dedicated online Complaint Management System at https://cms.rbi.org.in/ to handle banking grievances. You can use this portal to register your grievances from the comfort of your own home.
