    Policyholders may avail of this plan in one of three formats based on the premium chosen to be paid which is INR 271, INR 531, or INR 684, and which provides policyholders with a sum assured of INR 1Lakh, INR 2 Lakhs, and INR 3 Lakhs respectively.

  • Hospitalization Cover

    In-patient hospitalization costs along with those arising prior to (30 days) and post-hospitalization (60 days) pertaining to heart valve replacement or repair are provided with coverage. This coverage is available so long as the insured individual provides a clinical confirmation indicating the requirement of this procedure and which has been signed by an appropriate specialized doctor.

  • Treatment Cover

    This policy provides insured individuals with coverage for the treatment. This includes hospital room rent, medicines, and tests in addition to ICU, transfusion, and doctors’ fees.

What is Covered

By availing of this policy, policyholders are provided with coverage for the following.

  • Diagnostic tests

    Conducted during the pre-outlined pre-hospitalization period or during the hospitalization period are provided with coverage as per this policy.

  • Ambulance Charges

    In the event that the insured individual needs to be rushed to a hospital and avails of an ambulance, expenses arising from the same are provided with coverage amounting to up to INR 2,000.

  • Doctor’s Fees

    In the event that the insured individual needs to visit a doctor, coverage is provided for the same prior to, during, and after hospitalization.

  • Prescription & Medication Expenses

    Expenses incurred as a result of purchasing medicine required as a result of hospitalization are provided with coverage.

What is Not Covered

Policyholders of this plan are not provided with coverage for the following.

  • Pre-existing diseases are not covered by this plan and therefore cannot be used when applying for a claim.

  • Hospitalization pertaining to reasons other than heart valve replacement or repair is not covered by this plan.

  • In the event that the insured individual undergoes an illness or injury during the initial 90-day waiting period, they are not provided with coverage for the same.

  • Medical Practitioner’s referral letter advising Hospitalization

  • Medical Practitioner’s prescription advising drugs / diagnostic tests / consultation

  • Original bills, receipts, and discharge card from the Hospital / Medical Practitioner

  • Original bills from pharmacy/chemists

  • Original pathological/diagnostic test reports and payment receipts

  • Indoor case papers (if applicable)
